I wonder if it’s because they had 10 million ready to go in June for launch so most people who wanted one got one then. Especially because it’ll never go down in price, why wait until the holidays unless you have kids?

I love mine. The FPS boost alone in Zelda and Pokémon made it worth it for me. Cheaper than the GPU I want for my computer too. Then again, I went all in on the Switch in 2017 after skipping the Wii U, so more performance is fine with me. I do wish there was more stuff announced, though.

Do they… do they know what the C in CES stands for?

If that means more stuff like Stardew Valley then I’m in.

Yep, the first thing I did on the day the E-Shop closed was I backed up my NAND.

This was my issue. The two times I posted real, actual questions that I needed help with, and tried to provide as much detail as possible while saying I didn’t understand the subject,
I got clowned on, immediately downvoted negative, and got no actual help whatsoever. Now I just hope someone else had a similar issue.

I really feel like they’d have done a Funtastic series again if they actually truly cared about making money from colors.

You should. Now is the time before they go up in price like everything else. Great little thing for emulation, along with the 3DS. And it has some great games, if you don’t have a Switch. Even if you do have a Switch, there are a few still left on the U.

Huh. So if games are just horribly optimized and hardware costs a fortune, it will push more people to cloud/streaming their games. The corporations just keep winning. What a wonderful timeline we live in.

If they didn’t want people making mods like this, they should maybe take less than 13 years between installments.

I try to play a game once a day. Days where I can’t feel weird. Even if it’s just a puzzle game for 15 minutes, I try to play something every day.

Reminds me of the time I walked into my room and my computer, without asking me, was in the middle of updating from Windows 7 to Win10. I took my chances and unplugged it from the wall. Nothing bad happened, thankfully. Then I went in there and removed any notion of Windows Update I could find, short of removing the physical bits from my SSD lol

Thank you! I keep getting distracted by everything, as usual. Also your reply is the first I’ve ever gotten on this account, so that’s cool. Nice username too haha, great game.
Huh. TIL. They could have just taken Adderall this whole time. I used to lose so much weight every school year because it absolutely demolished my appetite. Apparently that’s what Adderall was initially created to do. And boy, that’s one of the things it did.

Huh, I’ve only seen dining room tables that could expand using table leafs. The only time I didn’t have that was when I lived away in college because why would we have that if we just ate on the couch lol

Right after I learn about how much of a failure Copilot has been, and they do this. I’m not surprised, but man.

Funnily enough, still TotK. I played heavily when the game was new and completed 2/3 of the main story missions. Then I kind of fell out of it at the 150 hour mark or so while searching for the Master Sword. I didn’t want to look it up, so I slogged a bit while retracing steps. That slog turned into 2024 and newer games came out. Then the Switch 2 was announced with enhanced performance, with a specific mention for TotK, so I held off on playing it. Of course, I was distracted by Mario Kart, and THEN Bananza, but I’m finally back to TotK and it’s as wonderful as it ever has been. I completed everything I was stuck on before, and then some. Now I’m trying to power my armor up before proceeding further towards the final battle.
Oh yeah, watching my girlfriend play her Switch 1 now is agonizing. Her birthday is coming up and I think I know exactly what I’m going to be getting for her.
Games like Zelda now load so fast you can’t even see your stats on the loading screen. And ya know, that’s an okay problem to have.
