There’s a really great episode of unspooled about jackass. Kind of examining them as performers in the tradition of Buster Keaton. As much as there’s a lot of stupid, hilarious bullshit, they really are talented stunt performers. And the movies are brilliantly assembled.

They deserve a lot of appreciation for all the damage they have done to themselves to satisfy our sadistic tendencies.
