minus-squareIanTwenty@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up13·4 days agoTron: Ares. Now I know a lot of people would say Jared Leto was enough to know it would not be good but I’d not seen enough of him to have that opinion yet.
minus-squareBonus@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·4 days agoTBF, no Tron movie was ever good. Just a lot of nostalgia for 80s arcade games.
minus-squarepopcar2@piefed.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·4 days agoThe story was never good, but the vibes of Tron Legacy were impeccable, and I love it for that.

minus-squareOnomatopoeia@lemmy.cafelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·4 days agoEven the original isn’t really good, it was just the first what we would call CGI/Live Action integration.
minus-squareBonus@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·4 days agoOh, I was definitely referring to the original. I saw it twice in the theater when it came out but it was still the equivalent of a made for tv movie at the time. Great visuals. Terrible, uneven storytelling.
