Everything has to ship yesterday and every bugs will be fixed tomorrow unless it affects the bottom line.
So lots of software engineers move from companies to companies getting burned out and not giving a shit anymore. They don’t care about what’s shipped because almost every advice they give is ignored, and every process is bypassed. So they are there for the paycheck, so might as well get paid more.
