The officials said the U.SS worried that Israel might assassinate Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Iranian parliamentary speaker who is leading negotiations with the US, or Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who has also been a public face of the talks. The warnings were communicated through intermediaries, the officials said.

    trump really started something he shouldn’t have and now he is powerless to rectify it. Once he joins moscow mitch in the afterlife things can only get better (but it’ll take time and some version of humiliation). All of this huge mess to cover his degenerate tween sex behaviour. What a huge colossal waste for everyone on all sides of everything.

    Why would Iran trust the US? They’re just as murderous and duplicitous as Israel. They know they’re not safe.

      I agree, but I don’t see any advantage to the US warning Iran about Israel here. I’m not entirely sure what Iran could even do with this information, so it’s interesting (if true) that the US would say anything at all.
