Recently entered the platform and already got recognized by one of the top modblog contributors - the MysticMushroom1776 @lemmy.dbzer0.com. And I got the title troll in so much communities. And I haven’t posted there even once.

But, as I understood from the modblog, getting a ban from this moderator is very common and thus doesn’t feel like something special. Especially, since there are no direct requirements specified for receiving it. And in private messages I was unsuccessful in getting answers.

So, maybe here can the moderator give the whole list of what to do(or not to do) to gain such attention, so that other people can/can’t get it too? Because of the rules for comunities don’t give enough info.

Thanks in advance.

P. S. Made post more serious.

Yeah, I got banned for being an AI troll despite not posting in any of their coms and not trolling anywhere else. Kinda seems they just take any negative AI sentiment anywhere as proof of trolling or antagonistic behavior.

The thing that really confuses me though is the Europe com. I can understand wanting to make your safe little slop spaces, but to then just have one called “Europe” which should have absolutely nothing to do with AI be a mandated pro AI com is just weird, controlling behavior.

This moderator likes to ban in all of their communities at the same time. I suppose that this is some kind of insecurity to prevent revenge towards them in a form of inappropriate behavior in other communities. This does prevents banned person to interact with them in their comunities, but doesn’t prevent of doing so in other, like here. Normal people send a warning or something firstly, not instant permaban. This is what makes this moderator a questionable person.

In the case of this mod though, there’s not even anything to warn against. They just don’t understand online discourse and are knee jerkingly overly reactive.

I think I remember that Europe community being created because of heavy handed moderation on .world’s Europe. DBZ was supposed to be the “free” instance that didn’t have that problem.

As you say, most of those are fringe slop communities and who cares if they’re heavy handed in their little fiefdoms, but they definitely shouldn’t be running a continent wide place community. If that Europe ever took off they need to get rid of them or move again.
