Her and her brother were babies from my mother-in-law’s yard. Mom died of unknown causes a month after TNR. Pepper and her brother were scheduled for transport on the kitten railroad but they chewed off the fur on the tips of their tails making them ineligible.
That was about 9 years ago. Her brother died a few years ago from kidney failure. But Pepper is still here. She spends most of her time outside eating rats. But occasionally she comes in for cuddles.
She is currently on day two of panacur because she has tapeworms. If you have outdoor cats you need to deworm them once in a while. But only after figuring out what worms they have because not all meds treat all worms and using the wrong one is no treatment at all. Treatment delayed is treatment denied.
Fix yo damn pets.
Does she run in the wheel? Probably not with the tapeworms
Pepper has never shown interest in the wheel. As it is only one of 14 cats has ever started the wheel without the aid of a laser pointer.
