    Ootl, What happens if you do? Are they gluten intolerant but too dumb to know so they still eat it?

      Nothing really, they can eat it just fine. Bread is just poor in certain micronutrients that birds need, so if their diet is mostly bread (which is common for pond ducks) they can get a nutrient deficiency that may cause a condition called angel wing (the exact cause is apparently unknown).

      There’s almost no nutritional value for ducks in bread, which can lead to all sorts of health problems for the duck and the general environment
