Here’s the problem with that logic.

The AI companies are buying ram to put into PCs that haven’t been assembled yet. They’ll put those PCs inside data centers that haven’t been built yet. To run AI services that don’t functionally work the way they want yet. To sell AI services to a population that doesn’t wsnt them. All so they can fire employees that can’t be replaced yet. Just so they can attempt to chase profits that were never possible in the first place.

What’s going to happen is these CEOs are going to look at the line, and realize it didn’t go up like they thought it would. Then they’ll cancel their orders for bulk ram that they never needed. The problem is, this isn’t just plug and play ram. So you’re going to have a case of Atari 2800 E.T going on. Where they have warehouses full of a made product that nobody wants.

They’ll either close shop and die, or barely survive, and have to make consumer ram really really cheaply…because now nobody will have PCs that need new ram. Consumers will either have really oldPCs whose ram is maxed out already, or they’ll rent a pc with soldered in non-removable ram. Or just not have a PC.

And this whole AI shit is a house of cards. You REALLY think they’ll spend the estimated 400 billion dollars in 2027 on data centers when so far it’s produced $0 in profit?

This shit’s about to crash, and the longer and higher they prop it up, the harder it’s going to crash.
