Unfortunately, I think the anti circumcision movement in the US is entirely captured by people that are more concerned with enforcing patriarchal constructs. They are unable to see circumcision as a negative result of patriarchal history that boys are hurt by and instead focus on it as “men having it worse” while ignoring the bigger picture.
