    That’s not how language works. Language isn’t some absolute. English for example has many dialects, some of which are difficult for other speakers to understand. I disagree with the notion that we all have to agree with changes being made to our language. Zoomers are using words like skibidi, rizz, and fanumtax. Skibidi may fizzle out or it might be adopted by the masses and become ubiquitous a word as water. My point is that if me and enough people decide your is the correct spelling of you’re than it becomes the correct spelling.

    “And at some point no one can understand what anyone says.” Funny, you’re (yes, I said you’re on purpose) example sentence looks more Germanic than modern English lol.

    In conclusion, let’s not interfere with the natural evolution of language. It’s a beautiful thing to bear witness to.

      Dialects and slang doesn’t translate to correct spelling and grammar. Sure, sometimes slang gets adopted in the dictionary, and that is when it is added to the standard we all agree on.
