    Brazil’s foie gras production ​is tiny. The ban on sales will effectively end imports of the luxury food from France.

    should call it for what it is, cruelty food, also because it’s not luxurious at all, you can find foie gras in supermarkets for 4€ in Francen’

      Focusing in pricing (I am vegan): 4 euros is expensive x3

      Idk what is the average week cart in your zone for one or two people, but 4 euros for 1 small can of something is expensive (specially when it is an extra).

        It is, I agree, but I’m talking in comparison with higher end Foie Gras which can cost up to 50€ for a little bigger can size. I felt like calling it luxurious when it’s so widely made available for the delight of carnists downplays how accepted animal suffering is in French food culture
