I bought a projector for what it would’ve cost for me to take myself and my kids to the movies 3 times. It’s actually really nice to enjoy the classics outdoors/indoors, wherever.

We have watched so many movies we’ve upgraded to a better speaker, and got a mini popcorn machine.

    Beyond worth it.

I will likely bever step into a theatre again

and got a mini popcorn machine

I’m semi intrigued by this. How is it? And what kind of volume does it turn out?

I’ve actually become boss at making popcorn on the stove though. I watch a lot of movies.

If you haven’t come across it yet, Flavacol is amazing for getting that cinema popcorn buzz.

Preach!!! I got gifted my first one and it lasted like 4 years and going. I have a fresh one lined up.

I sprinkle it on my roast potatoes now while they’re still in the oven. Nom nom nom. Amazing gear.

Oh yeah Flavacol is the best. I also really like using coconut oil.

Ours is 8 oz(1 cup kernels) but it’s a true popcorn machine because it does the heating, and the turning. I really like it. It’s enough to feed 10 people with a little bowl, and it only takes ~10 minutes so it’s easy to make seconds, and I’ve never had anyone have room for thirds.

We tried an air popper but I just can’t get the right flavor
