Great initiative! But these are neither in steam nor gog right? Never heard of… Necrosoft.
It’s itch.io. Effectively the same as GOG in the sense that they are just selling you DRM free game files that you download using a web browser.
The games are from Itch.io. The initiative is just sponsored by Necrosoft. They’re DRM free games you download.
Necrosoft is just the indie developer that organised the whole thing. The (DRM-free) download of the games happens through itch.io.
None of them are particularly interesting, sadly. It’s more like the donation and the cause itself is the main selling point.
I saw a couple standout titles like A Short Hike (polished cozy game) and Neon Struct (thief-like). I’ll see if there’s anything else that jumps out at me.
Edit: Eldritch is a rather good rogue-like Cthulhu FPS
Dungeon Bodega Simulator looks fun.
Deep Space Exploitation looks good.
Hyper Gunsport looks like a fun multiplayer game.
The Wratch’s Den looks neat.
There are some gems in there when taking a closer look, to be sure.
A few of them are, like Arranger. You get sent a link to download all of these individually. DRM free.
Worth the $10 just to aid the cause alone.
this fund will only be available to developers in North America (the U.S. and Canada).
