I have a theory that a large proportion of metal fans are neurodivergent. It’s the only explanation for why we have a full fucking taxonomy to explain our hobby.
Finntroll = metal - black - folk - fantasy - troll
Nekrogoblikon = metal - death - melodic - fantasy - goblin
Slayer = metal - death - thrash - old man
I agree because theres subgenres like blackend symphonic deathcore and how grindcore has like 2 subgenres that sound mostly the same like mincecore or pornogrind

Heh, I was a little sleep deprived when I wrote that comment so that likely didn’t help either lol but thank you though! That actually does make me feel a bit better, however, I must say, it’s kinda funny/sad that phrase can even be said these days. Sorry on behalf of my country and the terrible leaders we have, they are permanently stupid and corrupt, but I hope you Canadians don’t think we’re all like that either. To be quite frank, it’s embarrassing.
