After reading the whole blog post, I gotta be honest: The highlights are only funny out of context.
The undercurrent of depression and anger at the state of things that burns throughout the entirety of the blog post leave an altogether different aftertaste, humorous breakpoints or not.
Isn’t that exactly what sardonicism is? I would count it as form of humour even if its bitter and full of negativity.
Hmm. Yeah. I concede that point. I guess it just hits differently these days and I forgot how to appreciate it as an art form for a minute.
In the current state of affairs, sardonic humour often comes across as nonfiction
