    Why are you turning a win into a loss in your mind? A win is a win is a win. Stop giving yourself reasons to feel bad about it, we win here, we win in November, we win going forward. Celebrate the wins, man.

    Victory in electoral politics requires the insane belief that you can convince people that you’re right to want to help them. Conviction in that requires us to have hope that that is possible. Meaning we take the Ws when they come and celebrate them accordingly. Not because we’re necessarily happy with the results, but because the next win requires us to be.

        Yes, you put a caveat on your statement. Putting a caveat on a statement doesn’t mean you didn’t make the statement. I see your caveat and still find it wanting.
