I personally have blocked the accounts that pop up but only because I keep this account SFW, but a lot of tagged NSFW content isn’t actually “nsfw” for my workplace, just the sexualized stuff, so I dont want to just sift all of it out automatically in the settings. I dont see why it bothers people to the point where they have to make a big deal out of it, sometimes I think people on the internet have too much energy if they can afford to be directing it to negative stuff like that.

If it’s just a matter of “I want a different username,” you can change your display name at any time.
Plus, if it’s the same one username then the “haters” can just block that one user and there will be fewer of them complaining.
