    It’s about false advertising. They advertise it as being ad-free, and then say in the TOS that there are, in fact, still ads.

    TOS can clarify details of a service and set limitations and boundaries, but they do not justify deceitful advertising.

    The end result will likely be a settlement with YouTube adding an asterisk on the ad itself that clarifies that users will still see advertisements inserted by the creators.
