    Breeder reactors don’t create fuel. They convert not-quite-usable isotopes into usable isotopes.

    The process is analogous to “cracking” crude oil, converting heavy, less-usable components of the crude into lighter, more valuable fuels.

      were not running out of thorium for the next few 10k years and we already have massive stocks as its a byproduct of rare earth element extraction. If we haven’t cracked fusion by then i guess were boned.
