Create singlehandedly restored my interest in Minecraft, but I’ve never really tried other mods. I like the open endedness. Any recommendations ?

Botania is a mod that’s very open ended if your willing to put in some time to learn it. It’s a more polarizing mod than create due to it having a steep learning curve and it requiring you to use redstone for most of its automation

Depends on what you like. From technic modpacks I really like Tekkit, so I would recommends newer versions of Tekkit as I find them simpler than other technic modpacks. For adventuring: RLCraft and Tale of Adventures. RLCraft is popular and very deadly. I had fun with it for multiple weeks and Tale of Adventures is a lot less deadly but not as fun. I mostly played it because of nostalgia, but if you enjoy exploring medieval vibes it is fun for a few days. There is many many more, but I have not dived into those.

Im not I big fan of create either. The mod that adds the estrogen in this screenshot is actually HBM’s nuclear tech mod which probably couldn’t be further apart from create

I haven’t played modded Minecraft in a few years, and the only thing I recognize in your screenshot is the AE2 wireless terminal. Just goes to show how fast the modded MC space can move

I wasn’t familiar with most in this screenshot either, but to me it looked rather old. After a bit of sleuthing I found out that this was Nuclear Tech, a mod from the 1.7 days.
