Is this a mobile web? I just tested this on desktop and I didn’t get it, but this popup has been around on their mobile web version for a few years now (before I switched to Lemmy, at least).
nope. regular desktop chrome browser - on fedora linux. ive been seeing it on firefox mobile for a while. no longer using reddit on mobile
Crazy. I guess they assume they’ve reached peak MAU and are now trying to prevent them from leaving. That and the AI scraping stuff, obv.
