Opened reddit (regular, not old) in chrome this morning and im seeing non-dismissable login page.

is this correct - reddit now fully login gated? wtf

    I just got this today and didn’t realize it’s been an issue people been having for two weeks.

    thank god I have ublock origin so I can bypass this shit but frankly maybe it’s about time everyone just moved to lemmy or back to smaller forums.

        @naught101 i mean when that happens, for sure Reddit will die off

        they might have gotten away with it during their api restrictions a few years back but this one will have everyone peeped off for sure

        at least that’s my hope anyway

      I think I really got into lemmy finally.
      Photon client https://phtn.app/ for desktop, boost for lemmy on mobile - works really fucking good.
      No ads, I can finally use a normal android app too, have not been able to for reddit since they shut down rif.
