The so called “Chav” uniform - tracksuits, gold chains, caps and trainers, is literally just the standard uniform of British working class lads, so it’s not even subtle…chav is a slur, not a subculture. The idea it is a subculture was a media fabrication.
Some restaurants have banned “sportswear” which also happens to specifically ban baseball caps, tracksuits, as well as certain brands of trainers. It’s essentially a “working class lads are not welcome here” sign.
Britain has a huge classism problem.
Isn’t this the country that puts some random person’s pictures on all its money based solely on which vagina it came out of? You mean to tell me that country is classist? Who would have known?
