The National Week of Action Against Automated License Plate Readers is an opportunity for all of us who oppose surveillance to stand up together and say no! DeFlock has received an overwhelming response to the call for a Week of Action as thousands of people, from coast to coast and across the political spectrum, have already registered.

Wtf… Who would register for something like that? If you’re anti-surveillance, you should be aware that the government is watching shit like that. Just go to the demonstration or whatever but don’t sign up for it.
If I’m looking at the right thing (??) it seems to want just an email? It doesn’t ask for real names or anything. So you could just make a throwaway. Looks like they just want some way to contact local groups and people.
That’s waht I saw on their main page anyway at https://noalprs.com/index.html. Unless I’m missing another registration thing.
Yeah, I have to agree. Some sort of broadcast channel would be far more suitable. You’d think they’d know better but I guess that’s too much to ask.
