I’ve never had a cubicle job, but my autistic brain thinks it’s great, it’s like one step below a dedicated office. I can’t think of any other way to give a bunch of people pseudo-privacy and a consistent space to keep their stuff.

Open workspaces just sound like a way to cheap out on furniture and remove any pretense of privacy.
