Epic Games recently did an AMA (Ask me anything) in the community Discord server, confirming that a Linux / SteamOS version of the Epic Games Store is coming.
Epic has never had a steady hand on Linux. Sometimes they support it, at other times they seem to actively work against it.
For sure Linux has been a 3rd rate customer to them since even before they had the store. Where they didn’t give a crap if things didn’t work in Linux.
I for one am not going to be using Epic store anytime soon.
