Hey what happened to Adam Driver ? He did some great movie 10 years ago, disappeared, made some shitty movies and Metropolis. What the fuck ?
He made his money with blockbusters and moved on to making the weird movies he wants and now he is moving back into mainstream movies while sticking to the weird roles. Mr Sinister? It’s a choice and a great villain for Marvel. Adam Driver is not a name that would be the first or second round of choice for the role and this could be eye opening.
Rise of Skywalker wasn’t that long ago, and he’s been in movies directed by Ridley Scott and Francis Ford Coppola since then. So I wouldn’t say he’s avoiding blockbusters, just that the movies he’s been in haven’t performed that well. Not because of him, but just because the Last Duel was kinda boring and Megalopolis was… well Megalopolis.
I see him popping up in movies I watch all the time. Guess we just watch different movies.
