This is just Marxist Leninist propaganda because Marxist Leninist Communist states have lots of victims which weren’t nazis, landlords, kulaks, capitalists etc. Showing victims of famines here when its pretty much historical consensus that communist state action played a significant role in many devastating famines is even more insidious.

You could make an argument MLs weren’t actually communist because of how they’re tying themselves to a state, but that just makes them even angrier
Virtually ever modern famine was caused by a state. Frankly, I think famines can be avoided fairly easily under any economic system in modern times, thanks to technological improvements. All it takes is not deliberately and violently creating conditions of deprivation.
What purpose does that argument serve, though?
I think it’s fairly obvious. If we stop states from depriving people of food then there won’t be many famines. The color of paint on the tanks isn’t relevant, just that they’re crushing people under them.
