Were you subscribed to the community before the comments were created? Comments only federate across when there’s a subscription to pull them in. And the subscriptions don’t pull comments retroactively, so it’ll only work for future comments.

I tried to mitigate that as much as I could by having a federation bot. But maybe I need to expand on it.
Yeah. Unsure what pylova is doing correctly unlike piefed. Might be an issue to bring up.
I do enjoy sometimes manually fetching comments the recursor hasn’t gotten around to fetching.

nay subscribed to eithers. In Pylova it populates comments if it just finds them, recursively.
But I see the technicality that occurred here.
