“PC version” of the game. Not “PC rendering” of the game. Hopefully meaning that there is a PC version of the game that they are actively developing, in turn hopefully meaning PC players won’t have to wait half a year to play.

PC releases don’t take longer than consoles to make anymore - in 2026 it’s entirely business decisions - not technical.

I’m pretty sure basically all game development is done on PC.

It makes sense that they’re running a “PC version” it’s a lot easier to work on it that way. Needing to outfit your entire development team with PS5/Xbox/whatever devkits just doesn’t make sense.

Xboxes and PS5s are PCs now. They use the same AMD CPU and GPU architectures that you can buy and put in your own PC. Xboxes even run a modified version of Windows. The restrictions placed on them are entirely artificial, as is Rockstar’s choice to not release on PC simultaneously.
