AMD has now published the full specifications of another variant of its entry-level RX 9050 GPU, which cuts down the VRAM from the standard 8GB to a measly 4GB. The 4GB card isn't available to purchase directly for consumers though - which is probably for the best.
I really think they should have named it different like “Radeon NG 9050” or something rather than having RX for the 4GB model. That is really only useful for thin clients that need more oomf than the integrated graphics and the naming should communicate that.
I really think it would be easier to upsell the graphics cards if they differentiated the names more. Like “5060 ES” for the 8GB model and plain “5060” for the 16GB model for instance. But what do I know.
