    10x the diplomatic pull

    Outside of being a NATO member I don’t think Turkey has the sort of political pull that Israel has. Israel has literally been getting away with genocide for years now. Its functionally illegal to criticize Israel in many places.

        Israel could straight up attack Turkey triggering article five and several NATO members, including the US, would immediately back Israel. You can point out how stupid, irrational, and illegal that would be all you want, and you’d be correct, but its still what will happen. That’s the level of ideological commitment to Zionism we’re dealing with here.
