According to the article, the 2.34% figure includes all non-binary people.
I thought it seemed high for trans, but now it seems low for all non-gender-conforming.
Doesn’t trans just mean not identifying as the gender you were assigned at birth?
Non-binary is not GNC, non-binary is trans. Cis and Trans people can both be GNC, so they would not be reflected in this stat.
In most studies trans people are roughly evenly split between femme, masc and enby.
This is entirely new to me. What do you mean non-binary is trans? I know plenty of enbies who are not trans.
That’s what the white line in the flag represents 🏳️⚧️
Trans means you identify as a gender that is not the one you were assigned at birth. Nobody was assigned enby at birth.
whooping 2.34%
Whoop whoop!
That’s amazing! And both numbers are more than double what I thought they’d be.
