I have my criticisms of Mark Carney and his Liberal government, but you can’t really “both sides” the tensions between the USA and Canada right now.

I can when we’re talking about Doug fucking Ford. This isn’t a Canada v US thing, it’s a Doug Ford Reactionary Populism versus Donald Trump Reactionary Populism pissing contest. They’ve got functionally identical politics, the same basket of empty promises, even the same damned photo-op strategy. Canada’s Fords are carbon copies of America’s Trumps.

Canada has been thrown into the position of constantly having to defend itself from unprovoked attacks by the USA.
