    Ah yeah, people always prefer the soulful stuff, like reality TV and fast food.

    How much time do you think someone eating a McDonald’s burger spends appreciating the real human effort that goes into it? Do you think they never choose it over “the good shit” as you describe it?

    Conveniently we can measure just how much people prefer things by observing what they give up their time and earnings to have and to consume. Time after time, people go for slop - the old fashioned kind, that is. And that’s fine. It’s only snobs who think everything you consume has to be gourmet, artisinal, hand-crafted bollocks. We have a number of fantastic pizzerias here, but that doesn’t stop me from every so often enjoying some monstrosity from domino’s or the freezer.

    I bet you’re not actually as snobby as your stance implies.
