Consistency. You can take 3 readings in a row with that stick and get 3 wildly different results. I have a $20 digital one from decades ago that gives me the same reading within 5kPa on each try.
That’s mostly a quality and skill issue. People cheap out and buy low quality gages. My 40 year old stick gage is as accurate as is needed and very repeatable in my hands. And it measures up to 150psi.
And remember, this stuff isn’t that accurate anyway. It just good enough and that’s it.
