Yeah can’t afford that either. Can’t install anything because I’m renting, can’t be anything but renting because I’m poor.

And the legal system I live under doesn’t have any law to make landlords follow accommodations…

That’s completely fair! Sorry, I underestimated the cost and the problem of getting permission as a renter. I looked into it properly and, although the plastic covering and curtain are cheap, constructing the drainage, sloped floor and waterproofing can still cost around £6,000–£8,500 here. If you’re comfortable saying which country or state you’re in, I’d still be happy to check whether there are any local grants, charities or tenant protections that might help. No need to give your precise location.

I’m sorry I’m unable to share where I live because of privacy concerns. But it’s very nice that you’re trying to help. Hope you have a nice day, cheers :)

(I have however spent a long time exploring all the possibilities and am fairly certain there isn’t much to do for now, bar moving which since I’m rent controlled would probably be impossible financially ahah. So more just a reality of being disabled and unable to work under the system than something that can be fixed at an individual level unfortunately).
