All my medicines are in pill bottles, so the way I solved this is by flipping the bottle upside down after I take it, then flipping it back around when I get up in the morning. If I see it the right way up then I know I haven’t taken it yet for the day.
It’s a way of helping people easily identify and verify whether or not they’ve taken the pill for the day. “Did I remember to take my medication this morning? Oh right, today is Tuesday. Must not have.”
If they are all the same then does it even matter what day of the week each pill is taken?
Yes… for some it is difficult to remember whether medication for the day has already been taken.
I take only one pill a day, but still use a pill organizer for this reason

But what if you take it and forget to flip the bottle?
Or forget to put the bottle right side up in the morning?
That would be an issue, but I’m a person of habit and it’s part of my routine now, so I don’t forget.
