You can’t silence your way out of your skin. Your skin follows you. Its likely tied to culture that’s not the same. It’s associated with being inferior by way of statistics in ways white people don’t. If you’re a woman, now it’s even harder

i.e. I take that as the literal opposite: they can predict and avoid that situation.
