I also enjoyed the Warcraft movie. it was a perfect introduction to the franchise. I remember at the time of release people were miffed because it wasn’t WORLD of Warcraft. But still the locales and characters still looked fairly spot on if you only played WoW and not the previous games.
As for Halo. man that show was such a bait and switch. The opening to the first episode with the Spartans and the Master Chief was great annnnnnnd that’s about it.
That halo tv show was so ass. I sucked it up and finished season one, but when season 2 dropped, I gave 0 fucks. I still haven’t watched it to this day. The fact they had insurgents with fucking AK 47s and not any halo lore weaponry was so goddamn stupid. Chief taking off his helmet in episode 1, nothing being cannon, the show was a fucking disaster.
The Warcraft movie was actually good (even if it didn’t bring in enough money to earn a sequel).

warcraft was a missed opportunity. they should have made two movies. one from each sides perspective(just like the game)
