I wasn’t sure where to post this, but it seems like Tildes is pretty much dead now. This is why decentralized is the only possible good future.
Hopefully all the users move to Lemmy/PieFed/Mbin

There can be security issues though. And I think it sounds like it won’t be growing from here, for social media that means it probably won’t take long to shrink a lot. If the current feature set and UX didn’t attract a huge userbase, then keeping it the same certainly won’t help.
If it was an offline video game or software then it would be different.
Security issues for sure, that’s what I mean to acknowledge by saying it takes some level of maintenance.
But like, the feature set and UX don’t have to keep improving forever, IMO. The draw of something like this should be the community, the humans you interact with.
