I don’t mind it sometimes, given that more content in the Fediverse is needed in a lot of communities. And I hate reddit enough that I never visit the site, so I don’t know what was reposted here or what’s OC.
I remember in the beginning of reddit, 80% of memes were reposts from 9gag or canihazcheesebuger, which on their turm reposted from reddit and each other as well. The recycle cycle was very effective.
Ok? It’s not like Reddit (the site) created the content, they just link to it. The only difference is that its not benefiting that pig fucker Fez, or whatever his name is, by driving traffic to his site

No joke, 90% of content here (lemmy) is reddit reposts, and it has been so for a while.
