Probably yeah. Pretty sad tho. I think it’s time people realise that, unless working for charities or government entities, most of them are ultimately working for maximizing profits and not much else.

I guess it is weaponized basic needs.
Esteem Needs: The pursuit of self-respect and the desire for status, recognition, and appreciation from the people around you.
Self-Actualization: The personal drive to reach your full potential, grow your talents, and find true self-fulfillment.
Even then, if you are exhausted then someone probably will get hurt or die.
