I just noticed this randomly, because I wasn’t able to vote on a post.
My guess: Someone didn’t like that I am also subscribed to anti-AI communities.

That a better argument in favor of Db0, that they’re not going to micromanage someone’s communities for them when anyone can just block what they don’t like.
On the other hand, if you’re going to have a shitfit over downvotes and mass ban people and accuse them of being trolls, move to an instance that disables downvoting.
I’m not arguing for or against MM. I’m arguing against the idea that it’s Db0’s responsibility.
I think it is the responsibility of the admins to keep their moderators from acting like reddit mods and abusing their position for the health of their instances. Nobody is going to want to use an instance if they get banned from half the active communities just for one downvote of slopaganda. If deebs doesn’t care about this, that’s fine in the end. We’ll just find somewhere else to discuss piracy and anarchism. Like anarchist.nexus, hopefully.
yeah I don’t know about that, chief
It’s the responsibility of the admins to uphold their instance values. Those values should include letting moderators moderate however they want as long as they follow the instance rules. If they were to punish someone for breaking rules that don’t exist, that would be power tripping.
