Got some overtime by staying over onto dayshift this morning because the unit secretary wasn’t there to take the patients down for procedures like usual (small hospital, no dedicated transport techs). Normally when she is there, PACU will call and be like “hey can you have the pt down by XX:XX” and she almost universally says “they’ll be down at 7:30” and hangs up the phone without further comment. Beautiful bitch just causally tells the OR what’s happening every morning she works. Court too for involuntary hold patients (psychiatry). We love her.
