    I don’t write them off, I’m just not interested in watching actors in front of a green screen anymore. It doesn’t matter to me how hard CGI artists work because the medium itself has lost appeal for me.

    I’m interested in traditional filmmaking techniques: shooting on film, a focus on story and acting, practical effects, matte painting, traditional darkroom and traditional editing (cutting and splicing) etc.

    This is why I mostly watch 20th century movies now.
