Just happened to check the modlog right after it happened. Weirded me out to see my username at the top.

I downvoted it because there was no context, just a list of names. No evidence. No nothing. It looks like harassment or trying to inspire a brigade.
I’d take it up with the mod but the strange callout list without context + OP’s extended modlog makes them someone I don’t want to DM.
In case it wasn’t obvious from my post history, no I’m not a zionist and I don’t defend zionists.

Being called a zionist and/or a fascist on lemmy is basically a welcome greeting. I have genuinely never been anywhere online where there is this level of purity testing.

funnily, while people called me a liberal, zionist and a nazi in that thread, my only ban on the fediverse is for being a “tankie bootlicker”. i have no idea what warranted that, i had never even heard of that random piefed community i got banned from before i accidentally checked my modlog and saw a ban.
it’s the only punishment i’ve ever gotten on this platform and i have no idea what specifically caused it. that’s in my moderation logs forever despite me taking very good care to not break any rules anywhere i go. oh well

People don’t like the truth, that’s why they downvote. And same! I have literally hung out in all kinds of corners of the internet since I was a teen and I likewise have never received this level of verbal abuse as I have on lemmy.
The brilliance of this set up is also that if you try and voice your annoyance with the way you have been treated, everybody just automatically assume that you indeed is x-label they put on you and everything you say to defend yourself is then assumed to be malicious and proof that you are in fact a bigot or a fascist or whatever.
It is equally frustrating and amusing.
I’ve been tempted to make one, but I’d need to field suggestions first. Being called a fascist would probably be the free space.
