Unfortunately…
Though, I do appreciate Fandom (former Wikicities; Wikia) for providing many awesome information people wrote and organized in the Wiki, including some I recall for video-games history even, as Serious Sam, Harry Potter, Celeste, Starbound, Minecraft etc. and for an chances to participate in these, too…
Yet, indeed… such an attitude may worsen the presentation and overall access to the system to the point many will just skip it leaving an invaluably marvelous underlying information unseen…
Others, with more time or support, may migrate, but where to find time for it to achieve properly, respectfully, accurately, and carefully…Related:

I just don’t bother anymore.
fandom is a classic example of a company shamelessly profiting off user’s contributions
they only get page views at all because of stuff that people wrote.
