    $4.43 per gallon is still only ⅔ of the price as in Northern Europe right now lol. But I guess we’re better off to pay for it? Less dependent on it? I dunno. I have an EV so it’s whatever for me, personally.

          Still less than 75 % of the maximum price of gasoline here during the pandemic in combination with the Ukraine war. 😅

          Diesel is $8.30/gallon here now.

                So your commute is a fraction of a commute in the US.

                Here it might be a 30-45 minute ride in a car. One way. Do you see why $5 fuel would be a much larger problem here?

                Good for you. So do I.

                Everything you own and eat involves a diesel engine somewhere. That is the real problem. People with EV’s have to eat still.

                  lol what. My commute is that long. Lots of people have longer commutes than 30–45 minutes here too. I’m one person. An anecdote. 😆
